Neuron IP Joins Canada's Semiconductor Council
Toronto-based IC design firm brings chiplet and silicon interface expertise to Canada's national semiconductor industry voice
Ottawa, Ontario | June 10, 2026
Canada's Semiconductor Council (CSC) today welcomed Neuron IP as its newest member. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Toronto, Neuron IPprovides advanced IC design services and purpose-built silicon interface IP, with a focus on the chiplet ecosystem and die-to-die connectivity for AI, high-performance computing, automotive, and 5G applications.
The company serves a client base that includes tier-1 semiconductor companies and high-growth startups, and has expanded rapidly since its founding. In late 2024, Neuron IP announced a multi-million-euro investment to open its first European R&D centre in Barcelona, establishing a presence on both sides of the Atlantic while keeping its headquarters and core operations in Toronto.
"Chiplets & AI are reshaping how semiconductors are designed and integrated. It's one of the most consequential shifts the industry has seen in years. Being part of CSC means we can help make sure Canadian companies and policymakers are at the centre of that conversation, not catching up to it," said Saman Sadr, President & CEO, Neuron IP.
As a CSC member, Neuron IP brings deep IC design and silicon interface expertise to the industry working groups and policy positions CSC advances on behalf of Canada's semiconductor sector.
"Neuron IP is exactly the kind of homegrown design capability Canada needs to be proud of and protective of. The chiplet space is moving fast globally, and having companies like Neuron IP in the room when we're shaping policy makes that work sharper," said Paul Slaby, Managing Director, Canada's Semiconductor Council.
